Hi there! We’re the Sullivans. A small family-owned and operated apiary with a commitment to breeding sustainable, ethically raised honeybees. Our small batch honey is lovingly harvested and bottled by colony, never being mixed with honey from a neighboring hive. Our process preserves and captures the full spectrum of what was in season at the moment of harvest. From our family to yours.
OUR PROCESS
Our small batch honey comes from a collection of around 20 managed colonies nestled in historic Mandarin along the St. John's River in Jacksonville, Florida. Being in a mixed urban area, individual colonies often forage completely different nectar sources than a neighboring colony. This results in varying flavor profiles. We specialize in a by-hand harvesting process in which honey between colonies are never mixed. Our process preserves the taste of what was in season during that moment in time resulting in unique flavor profiles traditionally experienced by the beekeeper and their family.
